I have a 9.6 Sea King model VWB27009A serial 11076 It is a 1974 make.
 
pull rope can be bouight at a

pull rope can be bouight at any lawn and garden store all you need is generic pull starter rope just cause it is on an outboard doesnt mean it has to be complicated
 
make sure the rope is a small

make sure the rope is a small cord because the disk holding the cord is very small and doesnt hold very much.DON
