Sea Bird engine ID

I have an old Sea Bird 24' Cuddy. No idea of the year. It has a OMC sterndrive with a Chevy V-8. The engine number from the front of the block reads V02293BB. Anyone have an idea what kind of motor it is and what year? The boat serial number is 28077, but so far that is no help.

77' omc electric shift. The last 2 numbers on the transom are 77' ??? Seloc manual #3400 in the upper right hand corner.
