What horsepower, where used?Hi. I`m writing from Argentina. Need this screw, OMC Part 0305513: does anybody has specs about it? Diameter, lenght, thread? Thanks.
???? Looks like #72 is the bolt that secures the timing advance arm.. It is SAE thread not metric, 1/4-20 or 5/16-18 threadIt’s used on dozens of different motors, shouldn’t be hard to find. I would find someone with a tap & die set. Try different taps to find which one fits. Or, If you have a set of calipers, you can measure the inside diameter. Even a tape measure marked in 1/16” will get you close enough.
Poke a matchstick into the hole to determine length. It appears to be 7/8” length.
It’s for lifting the motor, so probably 3/8”, 7/16. Then buy an SS from your local big box building store, or Argentinas version of Bolts+.
Thanks man! Appreciate it!I look at one tomorrow.----Will post exact info.---Too bad you are so far away.----Free off some parts motors.
My bad…I typed a wrong part # into the search.???? Looks like #72 is the bolt that secures the timing advance arm.. It is SAE thread not metric, 1/4-20 or 5/16-18 thread
Thanks! I can get this type of bolt somewhere around here. Appreciate it!Just took that bolt out of 1 of many parts motors.-----It is a 3/8-NC thread.----And thread is 5/8" long.-----If your local shop is metric quipped it would be simple to change to metric.
