i tested my stator , number was high 700 hundreds , was told that was bad , orderded one from ebay read the same thing , am i incorrect on this , 1996 johnson 9.9 ?

??---700 hundreds means NOTHING to us here.-----Sounds like you would be better off to say what your motor is doing / not doing.----How did the motor run for you last season?----What happened when it failed on you?

This number means ohms ready. , there is a range that it’s supposed to be in , so this number is out of the range , I bought the motor not running, has good compression no fire
