"Hi guys, finally got engine out and everything I took off has sand in it, Ie.. Fuel Cooler and oil cooler I mean packed solid, I have never seen anything like it. I will try to upload some pictures.. Sand does not come out easy!!!"

This usually happens in one of two ways... Boat runs aground and owner powers the boat off.
or...
owner habitually beaches the boat under power and powers off.
