The 5/5hp and 6hp was common for many years such as 61 to about 78 or so and therefor used parts are plentiful.Look in the right places even on the AOMCI web page.If you had the right money in your hands I takes the right money to convince people to look for you.

"To free the pistons in the bores, turn the motor so that the heads of the pistons are up. Put a few inches of liquid wrench in the bores. Let it sit for a few days. Take a block of wood and a very large hammer and alternately persuade each to move slightly. Work back and forth until you get them free. Despite all due care, you may still have to replace one or both pistons."

"I have enclosed pictures of an air fitting which was brazed onto an old spark plug shell. This fitting may be available commercially but the one pictured is homemade. The fitting allows you to apply air pressure to frozen pistons to help force the solvent between the piston and the cylinder wall. Applying 125 PSI to the piston not only forces the oil in but also applies a downward force of almost 400 pounds to a 2 inch piston and even more to larger motors. I have used this device many times and found it often works well. On some engines it can be used on two cylinders at a time. Good Luck....Bob Caskey
