Running Temperature for a 1999 3.0L GS?

All,
What should be the running temperature for my 3.0L GS? I'm reading between 190 and 200 this year. Seem to remember it running around 160 to 170 last season. I've replaced the impeller, and checked all the hoses for ubstructions.

Closed or open cooling?

That would be open. The engine is in a Four Winns Horizon 170.

The standard thermostat for your engine is 160ºF, so 190-200ºF is high.

that is what i thought. I'll pull the thermo, test it, check all the hoes for ubstructions and go from there.
