I have a 2013 115 Mercury Four Stroke that is giving me a problem. The last two times I had it out it runs fine at low rpm’s but feels like it’s starving for fuel at higher rpm’s and keeps dying back to a lower rpm. I assumed it was fuel filters and changed them. Then took out again and it does the same thing but as I’m heading back to the ramp I notice the water line to my water pump pressure gauge has a hole in it and shows no pressure on the gauge. Would there be some sort of limp mode on this engine if it doesn’t read any water pump pressure? Water pump is working fine.
