Engine runs fine at top speed and idle but when throttle is engaged the motor begins to vibrate and sputter. By increasing speed, the engine seems to finally get enough fuel and runs fine.

Carbs maybe?"

Ran it yesterd

Yes Brand new!
Ran it yesterday wide open for a while and worked fine. I slowed down and it still worked fine. But after shuting it down and letting it sit for a while the same problem occured at low speed.

Nothing changed after pushing the choke.

Motor is starting to stall when throttle is engaged slowly. i have got it to run by slammin the throttle down right after turning the key....and again it rus great at higher speeds.

to correct this,...make sure throttle roller on spark advance,is touching cam,at idle position..
all omc eng's needed spark advance before throttle,...those eng need throttle and ign at same time."
