Rubber piece stuck in impeller

Hello, boat lovers,Took my boat out yesterday and noticed no water coming out of it. Brought it home and blew the outlet out. It worked after that. There must be a small piece of rubber from the old impeller in there somewhere. Any suggestions on getting it out?

Well I guess that means someone changed the impeller. If it was you, did you see any blade tip pieces missing so that you had an idea as to how large it is? If you did it and no pieces were missing its something else, like sand or weeds. When you said you blew it out, did you dislodge anything visible?

I did change the impeller, it did have small pieces missing. When i say i blew it out i meant i blew it through the water outlet with an air compressor. So i guess it unblocked it but went back between the impeller and peehole. Do you have a suggestion of how it can be completely removed?

No......without disassembling things. If you pull the water jacket plate off the rear of the block (encircles the spark plugs) and start introducing pressurized water at every opening you can find from the lower unit up you might get lucky......that's how I would approach your problem.
