I have a 75 hp mariner 1996 wh

I have a 75 hp mariner 1996 when i give it trotle it cuts back to ca 2500 rpm can anybody help.

It sounds like the "guardi

It sounds like the "guardian" system is kicking in and cutting the ignition.

Time to troubleshoot. The motor will restrict rpms if it senses an overheat or low oil condition - you are going to have to figure out what "it" thinks is wrong.
