RPM increase at high throttle

"Hi. When my throttle is at 3

"Hi. When my throttle is at 3/4 open or higher, the engine speed increases after a few minutes (at least in sound, not in actual speed)without any change in the throttle plate position. It sounds as if it's revving past line. I have to drop the throttle back to calm it down. Is this an air leak caused by excessive vibration at higher RPM? This does not happen at low RPMS. Thanks, Mike"

"No, it's deep enough in the water. It's always been at the same level. It sounds like it's in neutral and being revved up to red line. Only happens at 3/4 plus throttle. Thanks."

"then that sounds like a slipping hub in your prop, as you bring the throttle back down does it feel like it grabs the water again? the prop is a three peice unit,the hub, the rubber bushing, and the blades of the prop, its to safe guard against damaging your gear case if the prop hits something or gets a lot of seaweed wraped around it. try another prop(if you have a spare) and see if thats it
