I have a 2015 Mercury outboard 90 HP efi 4 stroke.
While running at 4000 - 4500 rpm the engine runs great but if I go over that the RPM drop out down to around 3000-3500 and then back up again and then down again and continue this pattern until I throttle back down.
Could this be caused by a bad coil or is there something else I should check first?
