Rotor spark sending point

Yesterday I disassembled the distributor for cleaning and found that the tip of the spark sending unit(small metal piece ) at the rotor was covered in hard black deposit. Is that a normal thing, i.e. is it some kind of a special graphite coating? Or is it something that needs to be scraped off?"

Than this is the confirmation that scraping off that junk/deposit of the tip did fix my problem!

All those guys that experience bad performance at WOT or near it after the engine warmed up should check for dirty distributor parts!
