"I purchased a boat that was repowered with chrysler 360s, I think in the early 90s. They are labeled "electronic 275hp".
I haven't found any info on these engines. Where can I look on the engines to find a data plate?
Any hints on how to figure out when they were made?

Anything important that I should know about these engines? I am new to marine engines.

"i know my id tag for my small block chrysler is on the bell housing. if they were new in the early 90's , they are most likely "magnums". they are bullet-proof engines with a lot of potential."
