Ron wants info on 1990 60 hp

I have a 1990 60 HP Mariner and am trying to remove the lower unit to put a new impeller in the water pump. I have removed the 4 bolts holding the lower unit but it will not budge. Do I have to remove the prop and is there something else that is holding it on?

Replacement cost of a 60 horse = a little over 7K

New lower unit = $2800

Seloc's manual = 35 bucks

How much you willing to gamble on an "ooops"?

There are 5 nuts. One might be hidden under the trim fin.
