"I have a couple of Crusader 4

"I have a couple of Crusader 454's with Rochester 2brl TBI's. Both engines are at 800hrs. I think it’s time for a carb rebuild or replacement. Both motors run excellent but they are leaving a noticeable fuel slick when running. Cold or warmed up, they expel alot of gas on to the water.
Anyone know where I might check out pricing?"

"I'd be inclined to check

"I'd be inclined to check the computer and sensors to make sure they are 'proper' before swapping parts.

If you have TBI's, and you need them, replacement injector units are available for most of those units. I'm not aware of anyone that rebuilds the injector units though it is possible.

Some of my auto friends use injectors4u.com. You can look them up and call to see if they can help if you need parts. They will likely ask for the Rochester 'model' number which should be stamped into the TBI main casting."

Update - while I'm at it...
Had injectors rebuilt, no change.
I'm leaning towards valve stems are a bit worn, oil passing through them out the exhaust.
When its warm outside and the motors are warm, it is unnoticeable, cold is another story.

Needs a head job…
