Riser gasket help needed ASAP

I am replacing my exhaust manifolds risers and elbows and I have my boat apart and realized they shipped me the wrong gaskets. I need a restrictor gasket w/ turbulator but was shipped a block gasket. Can I just cut holes in the gasket in both ends to make a restrictor gasket. Or would it be best to wait for the Oem restrictor gasket?


I have a 5.0L MPI bravo III mercruiser

Sorry. I should have mentioned that the block gasket has the turbulator.

The gasket w/holes is the same as w/o holes...use a razor knife to cut the holes.
