"Had the head off my Rev Rotation Chrysler 360 a few weeks ago and--guess what?--the pistons had been put in the other way around (which is CORRECT! The mark on the pistons that indicates "forward" was in the back.) That means the deliberate offset of the piston on the rod, to counteract piston slap, has been oriented in the correct direction since the motor turns backwards.

THE WHOLE TWIN ENGINE THING HAS ME CONFUSED ALSO. I HAVE A 89'IMP WITH TWINS AND BOTH MY MOTORS RUN CLOCKWISE. DOES THIS MEAN SOMEBODY CHANGED THE MOTORS ? THE BOAT GOES THRUOGH THE WATER REALLY WELL. IS IT POSSIBLE THAT THE OUT DRIVE CHANGES THE DIRECTION? I NEED ANSWERS BECAUSE I'M IN THE MIDDLE OF A REFIT.
