reverse rotation alternators??

Hey guys,

Anyone know if alternators are rotation specific. I took off both alts. during the winter to have them rebuilt and now I dont remember which one goes to which engine? Chevy 350 standard & reverse rotations. Are alts manufactured to put out power only if the wheel spins a certain way or does it not make a difference which way it spins

Alternators don't care. Generators do.

That is correct! The only difference that one may encounter would be a reverse fan blade..... and I doubt they use one. If both are same, then there's your answer on that!
