I have a 1968 Chrysler 45. It runs great in forward gear but when I put it in reverse it engages and the prop spins (i pulled out of the water to check) but it does not reverse at all. Any ideas?

I unhooked the cable and it wi

I unhooked the cable and it will now shift all the way into reverse.... So it looks like I just need to adjust the cable. Thanks for your help.
