reverse polarity

Calculated risk

I have a 2002 3.0ltr 130hp mercruiser. 290hrs.
i hooked battery up at night and realized I reversed cables. I am able to get power all the way to my throttle assemble to operate my tilt, but I am not getting any power to my dash. Volt meter etc. I have traced all wiring and checked all the fuses i can see. Could this damage ignition? There is a red reset on the engine but it is very stiff to push I can't push it in.
Any comment re the issue not the mistake would be greatly appreciated. Thanks G

check for 12v at the 50A circuit breaker, if none ,there may be a 90A fuse link contained in a small square plastic looking block mounted to the main battery lug.

Alternator is probably fried creating issues in other circuits. Check this and the starter. Blower motor is probably fine. Gauges and lights are probably good. Coil should be good. Don't know enough about your ignition to comment.
