I am planing on repowering my 17 Proline CC with either a 96 Johnson Ocean Runner or 92 Yamaha 130. Will there be any great weight difference in these motors.

" I think they come in at at about the same weight -- 360 lbs. My 2 cent comment -- Its good to get extra power, but on an older boat be cautious, the extra and power can stress the transom. Its always safer to go with what was on it. "
