"just wondering how much work im in for..pulling an 03 350mag and replacing with 02 496, both are smartcraft motors, is the wiring harness the same. is it just a matter of plugging in new engine, the 496 was the optional motor for this boat..i havent yet purchased the used 496, and just wanted som input..thank you"
 
is this a sterndrive? if so wh

is this a sterndrive? if so what drive? the 496 is a big block. quite a bit larger than your 350. you may need to redo your front mounts.
 
It uses the same bell housing

It uses the same bell housing bolt pattern. Not sure about the mounts...
