replacing throttle control on 30 hp 1984 evinrude

guys, my throttle control keeps coming apart inside,i would like to just replace it with a teleflex model.do i need the teleflex cables,or do i just need the proper hardware to change out the connectionns to the shifter on the original evinrude cables??thanks in advance paul..

What control do you have now ? -----Factory ones are very good !----------Pictures of what goes wrong will certainly help.

i have factory control but it seizes up sometimes and the warm up lever keeps popping out of place inside the box!!
