Replacing Throttle Cable 1989 Johnson Tracker 20 hp

I have a 1989 Johnson Tracker 20 hp with tiller throttle and the throttle cable is broken. I can't see how to get the throttle cable disconnected and out of the tiller arm. The attachment to the engine side looks fairly straightforward. I can get the throttle grip off of the arm, but how do I disconnect the cable from inside the arm and put the new cable in? Any help would be appreciated.

You will need a factory manual.-------------What you are seeing is modern engineering / factory methods.-------------Parts are engineered / built to snap together in the factory and saving time there.----------There is no regard for ---" someone might need to repair this " one day.--------------The older tiller handles were so easy to repair !
