Replacing fuel Lines

I have a 1985 Carver with twin 454's. Considering the age of the vessel and I don't know how old the rubber fuel lines are. Project number one is to replace them. I understand there is an anti siphon valve in each fuel tank. My question is can I disconnect the fuel lines at the fuel pump and blow the fuel back to the tanks? Cycling the transfer valves to clear the lines of fuel. Or will the anti siphon valves in the pick up tubes in the tank would not allow me to do that? I would prefer to clear the lines that way, less chance of spilling gasoline in the bilge. I know that I could disconnect the lines at the tanks and catch the fuel in a container. Then there is gasoline vapors in the bilge to contend with. Thanks David

I'd do the drain thing. You might not get all the gas out blowing it back like that and have an even worse spill.

Be sure to use A1 USCG approved hose and double clamp every connection IF possible.
