I am currently taking off a 1996 40 hp, with power trim. With bad lower unit. And trying to replace it with a 77 model 55hp without power trim. My concerns are making the trim work with old motor. And the wiring of trim . Also the extra plugs that were on the 40 . What to do with them. Any help would be great!
