"OK so I have pulled off the manifold, not too hard a job and not too long of one. I think I lucked out as all bolts were SS and came out without shearing.

So what do I need to do to prep the old surface, gasket came off clean. The elbow gasket I will need to chisel off.

The bolts, do they get anti-sieze or lock tight?

How do I prep the gaskets, should I use a sealant?

I know to stagger torque, what poundage for a 318? I know to run for 30 minutes and then retorque?

Note I have read all the other posts, did drain the manifold before I removed it.

What else do I need to know?"

PS: Be certain ALL the old gasket crap is removed."
