Replacing 120hp, anything special?

My old 120 with MC-1 out drive is worn out beyond saving. I just bought boat that had a rebuilt 120 in it as a transplant. I am new to replacing I/O's, if I am taking both the motor and outdrive from the transplant to I need an alignment tool? Any other special tools I will need? And anything else I should replace while I have it out? Thanks!

yes on the alignment tool. anytime a motor is disturbed alignment should be checked. Have the starter checked and use never-seize on the bolts, repair/replace any wiring issues, install a second bilge pump, check condition of oil pan,flex-seal coating if desired to prevent rusting of the pan.
