"I'm in the process of rehabing a 69 Evinrude 18hp. Could someone please explain why you would purchase one make of part over the other? Example: I'm adding an electric starter and MarineEngine offers four different solenoids: OMC, Sierra, Quicksilver, and Arco. Are the lower priced Sierra parts as good as the rest?
