Replacement for Slow Speed Needle Know

Has anyone out there got a solution to replace the plastic knob that goes on the end of the slow speed needle ?
I’m good with something “Custom” but need something on there so it can be adjusted.
I figured you guys would have an idea.

Is this for your 1983 7.5 hp? P/N 325380 is $17 and change..
