Replace VRO with straight fuel pump. Help needed

Hello!

I have a older Johnson 70hp motor that needs a New fuel pump and i want to replace VRO With a straight fuel pump.

And i am not sure wich New pump i need. The pump i have today has the Serial 0174434 wich is replaced With 5007423

Can anyone tell me wich New straight fuel pump is correct?

Nonsense.------------Look it up for a 65 hp commercial motor.-------Multiple years ------------Find the pump and it will be about $100 or so.

just take the complete vro off the engine, tape up the electrical wire that went to vro.
Just put the fuel line that goes n to he new pump and from new pump to existing carb line.
also put the hose from the block to the pump or it will not work the diaphragm n the new pump, it realy is that simple to do.
I have done loads of them.
Be a good idea to use the old vro stainless bracket to mount new fuel pump on, so it dont just rattle around.

this will show you how easy it is, this bloke does waffle on a bit, but he gets there in the end. ha ha

its a dead easy job to do . 1 hour at the very most and all finished. you wont regret changing it just remember run at 50 - 1 oil ratio
