I need instructions on replaci

I need instructions on replacing all seals on the lower unit of my 1979 Mercury 20hp motor. Have water leaking into the lube housing.

"Don't forget the shifter shaft seal--I see a bunch of these leaking. The entire LU has to come apart to reseal it. Start by unscrewing the prop shaft nut, pulling the guts out, then the pinion gear bolt, followed by pulling the driveshaft out.

"David, you need at least a Seloc's manual. You can fiddle with that lower unit over a weekend and have her all back together and sealed.

But if you try and do it without a manual on the bench you will most likely end up in the shop on monday morning with a few "left over" parts..."
