Well we just purchased our 1st family boat, its an older 1984 glastron ssv 151with 90 hp evinrude outboard. It is in Nice shape and runs well for the year, ita ready to run for next sunmer adyer winter and has already been winterized. I know very little about Boats & Outboard Engines, but over the winter I'd like to aquire a better understanding.

I'm a DIY'er and do a majority if the work on our Family Jeeps with the use of Factory Service Manuals.

I'm just wondering what everyone suggest as a decent well rounded Repair manual for a '84 90HP Evinrude.

You are sure to get opinions from both sides of the fence on that question. Personally, I can see both sides. The factory service manuals are more accurate. The Seloc manuals contain errors, but on the other hand will tell you a lot more than the factory manuals when it comes to explaining how stuff works. The factory manuals were written mostly for the dealer's shop, where it is assumed the reader knows which end of the screwdriver fits the slot (so to speak).
