does'nt want to come off getting no spark want to remove to check points using puller won't budge

put some pressure on it and wack the puller with a hammer.......... if this doesnt help we will give you more ideas.

dont get over zealous and break anything...... sometimes it can take a week to get one off.... it can be a long process, but it can get worse if you get in a hurry."

"Puller"?? you need a

"Puller"?? you need a vibration damper puller from the parts store and some long 1/4--20 bolts. (remove the starter pawls and use those holes)Do not put them in very far as you can spear your coils. If you ar going to hit it with a hammer-- support it off the block as they had a bronze thrust washer that would break and give you a 1/4 inch play up and down. Line up the key way with the support and put a steel bearing between the puller and the crankshaft.

"This is a 10 minute job as described by Mr. Moore. Do not hit it with a hammer. Remove the fly wheel nut and then restart about 4 or 5 threads, rest the puller on the nut so as not to damage threads of crank. It should break loose as you tighten the three 1/4" bolts. If not, lightly heat center area with propane torch (as per OMC memo).
No Spark you will probably be changing coils at a minimum.
