I do not think that this repair approach is at all feasable. First of all how are you going to hone the cylinders and keep the bearings clean? How would you keep grinding grit out of the bearings when you chamfer the ports ( sharp edges from the factory) that must be done for long engine life? How are you going to check the alignment on the connecting rods at reassembly?Best to rethink this project.

thanks sparky for information.1 more thing would the motor be alright to run on unleaded fuel? Just bought this motor don't know much about it.
