Removing lower unit

hey! i have a 1970 johnson 60hp s/n 60073B that i am having trouble getting the lower unit off of. i have all the screws off including the trim tab screw. Just wondering if there is something i am over seeing.

Have you remove the shift linkage??

not sure if this matters but it has electric shift..... otherwise no.

Not sure then, have you taken a look at the schematics that are offered on the website? its showing some sort of Cable item # 52

Theres no shift linkage but I do believe there are 2 wires to disconnect.Did the lower drop off at all? it may be the driveshaft is stuck in the powerhead
