"I want to remove the carb from my 2 stroke, 1986 4hp Mercury outboard. I have removed the choke assembly but the choke dial and arm are in the way preventing enough clearance to remove the carb. What do I do?"

"Try taking one side off the stud at a time ,say take the top off which should allow you to rotate the carb and the bottom will come off.you cant just pull it straight off."
