Could anyone give me directions how to remove the lower unit off of my mercury 9.8? I have a crack on the case on the bracket that holds the whole motor and lower unit.I found a guy that can weld it but he wants me to take it apart so he can weld it on both sides.I also need an impeller replaced.I don't have a service manual I'm gonna order one I'm hoping someone can give me simple directuons to remove it.Or is it too complicated for a beginner?Any help would be greatly appreciated.
