Remote control for 2002 8HP

I’m considering purchasing a 2002 8HP that has tilt for a trimaran, and the motor is mounted in an engine well. I currently have an outboard mounted that doesn’t have a remote, and for this sailboat, it’s difficult to use.

I was checking around to see if a remote was available for this particular engine, so does anyone know if there is?

I wasn't very clear. I'm also needing the kit to modify a 2002 Yamaha T8PXHA to accept the side mount remote control as well. I watched a video, and there were brackets and other things that had to be added/replaced. I have a side mount remote control that used to be connected to the same vintage Yamaha 9.9 before someone stole it and cut the throttle and shift cables and snipped off the power/control connector from that cable.

Better questions are, does anyone know what the parts kit is, or who might sell them, or who may know who might have something like this for sale.
