1968 merc800 I have the old style box rectifier.Is this a charging rectifier or not and what's the difference?
I'm still learning.Should the yellow wire from the stator be hot,as in live, when key switched off?How would I test to see if it is charging? As always all advice very much appreciated,thanks again."
