Recent change?

Did Suzuki make a major change in their DF20A motor recently? Most of the videos on the Internet about changing its oil are quite involved--calling for removal of quite a few parts to do a simple oil change. However my manual for my motor that I just bought, and this video, show a much simpler procedure. Just making sure I'm doing the right thing, and that I'm not somehow confused about this...

Don’t know if Suzuki changed the design of the engine. Video seems reasonable. In my case I don’t put many hours per year on my DF90A so I only change the filter every second year, saves a bit of time since the lower cowling doesn’t have to come off to change oil. If you’re doing the initial 20 hour after break in then the oil filter should be changed out.
