received my powerhead... damage!!!

This is a 1991 VR4 powerhead, 90hp. I am trying to assess the damage on this due to poor packaging and shipping. Any thoughts? what should i look for?

????..... Curious as to what happened here. Boater cancelled Photobucket, Photobucket cancelled boater, I don't know how to maneuver properly???

Unit was properly packaged properly... one pic I did managed to see indicates shipper possibly dropped unit from a height.

Agree with joe....?without pics, hard to judge. Looks to me as if the plywood has had a hole saw used on it from the "inside". The one radiused cut area has splinters on the outside, which is what majes me think it was hole-sawed from the interior side....which I assume was done prior to crating/shipping. All that aside I would look for the obvious.....cracked casting or evidence that the head actually came into contact with a hard surface.....something other than the plywood.
