Recall - Mercury and Gen 2 DTS controls

I received a recall notice in the mail today for prior to 2025 Mercury and Gen 2 DTS controls ...I guess there is an issue that in reverse a buzzer could go off and the controls will have limited response ?...the recall notice referenced a hull number (HIN date before February 2025 (B525).

Anyone know the fix and how long it takes? Is it a software programming issue?

I currently received the same recall, and have my boat already at the service provider for different work. I just called them to schedule this and they will let me know by tomorrow what's going on with it.

I just had my boat at dealer and they said it's a software update. Does that sound right...lmk [email protected]

Same here, but looks like it replaces the Benical
