I started having some overheating problems and could hear a squeal coming from the water pump. So I changed it out, only to find that I had replaced the circulating pump when the actual problem was the impeller inside the raw water pump.
My raw water pump is on a Chevy 350 cc block and is on the front of the motor directly below the circulating pump.
