"Hello - I am looking after a 1970 MacKenzie Cuttyhunk with a Crusader 270. The original thru-hull and strainer combination needs replacing. Can anyone help me size the new intake? Unfortunately I am not near the boat (or the engine manual), and will need to pre-order parts for the job. My guess is that the original seacock/strainer/associated hose is either 1" or 1 1/4", but I am unsure of what's spec. for this engine. Any help would be appreciated.
