Ran an IO without bafflemuffler attached to lower unit

Have a 1989 Maxum with 3.0 Alp

Have a 1989 Maxum with 3.0 Alpha One. Ran the boat without the baffle attached to the lower unit outdrive for about 40 minutes. Took it out of the water immediately. Any potential damage I should be aware of. Thanks!

You mean bellows? Only if you haul azz in reverse. It is possible to back wash the motor that way and kill it.
