I have a 1995 Johnson 225 Ocean Runner, with the after market ignition system from CDI. I've been having trouble with the "Quick Start" feature on this engine. I grounded out the white and black temperature wire, and even disconnected the yellow and red wire leading to the power pack. The engine will start up, and stay in Quick Start for a few seconds, then idle down, like I read in this forum. Then it will go in and out of quick start, every few minutes. Any ideas on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
