I have a 1999 crown line 238DB with a Murcury v8 Brovo3. I had a vinyl tarp get tangled in my props. I was going very slow at very low rpm's. The mother killed. I cut the tarp away and the boat started but I had a little difficulty shift into reverse. It final did but not real smooth. I got back to my dock and the boat seemed to run fine. After I put it in nuetral the button would not poop back out.
I took it it in for service and they replaced the neutral button and cleaned it out. It now stick periodically. Any ideas of what might be the cause. The boat run fine in for word and reverse once in gear.
